NASCAR is seeking an experienced Senior Coordinator, YouTube Race Operations & Live Content to help shape how race moments reach fans around the world, lead the execution of race-weekend YouTube publishing operations, drive high-quality live and on-demand video experiences, create efficient content workflows, and advance NASCAR's digital storytelling across one of the sport's most important fan platforms.
Based in Charlotte, NC, this role plays a critical part in delivering race highlights, live programming, and video content that keeps fans connected to the sport before, during, and after every race weekend.
Working at the intersection of digital media, content operations, live production, and emerging technology, this position helps ensure NASCAR's biggest moments are captured, published, and distributed quickly and effectively to millions of fans.
What You'll Do Edit, package, and publish race highlights, extended highlights, and supporting video content across NASCAR's national series.
Execute quality control processes to ensure video content meets NASCAR's editorial, technical, and publishing standards before release.
Optimize YouTube content through effective title creation, metadata management, thumbnail strategy, descriptions, and publishing best practices.
Maintain efficient race-weekend production and publishing workflows to support timely content delivery.
Lead execution of NASCAR's YouTube Live programming, including race companion coverage, special events, and experimental live content initiatives.
Coordinate livestream setup, testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ongoing operational support before and during live events.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and digital media teams to ensure successful live-event execution.
Help establish and improve operational standards and best practices for NASCAR's expanding live-streaming initiatives.
Serve as a primary point of contact for internal video clip requests and digital content support.
Locate, package, and distribute race footage, archival video, in-car camera content, scanner audio, and other assets for internal stakeholders.
Support the creation and organization of evergreen content libraries that enable long-term storytelling and fan engagement.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve content operations, publishing speed, production efficiency, and audience experience.
Stay current on YouTube platform developments, content publishing trends, livestream technologies, and AI-assisted production workflows.
Evaluate, test, and support emerging production tools, technology platforms, and digital storytelling innovations.
Travel up to 15%, including weekends, as business needs require.
What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in digital video production, live production, sports content operations, digital publishing, or a related field.
Portfolio, reel, or work samples demonstrating video editing, digital publishing, livestream execution, content operations, or sports storytelling experience required.
Strong Adobe Premiere Pro editing skills with experience creating and publishing digital video content under tight deadlines.
Experience supporting live streaming productions, digital broadcasts, or live-event content operations.
Knowledge of YouTube publishing workflows, audience engagement best practices, metadata optimization, thumbnail strategy, and video performance fundamentals.
Experience with WSC, Grabyo, Wildmoka, or comparable clipping and content distribution platforms preferred.
Familiarity with YouTube Live, OBS, vMix, StreamYard, or similar livestream production tools preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Experience collaborating with production, social media, digital content, or broadcast teams preferred.
Understanding of sports media, live-event coverage, or motorsports content is preferred.
Interest in emerging media technologies, digital distribution strategies, and AI-assisted production workflows.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including race weekends, evenings, and special events as needed.
