Job Description

The Senior Customs Analyst is a key leader in managing and executing TaylorMade Golf’s North American trade compliance operations, with extended involvement in global import and export activities.

Reporting to the Customs Compliance Manager, this role is responsible not only for execution, but for owning core compliance processes end-to-end, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring regulatory alignment across U.S., Canadian, and Mexican customs frameworks.

This individual will manage, govern, and continuously enhance customs processes, ensuring compliance with U.S.

CBP, CBSA, and Mexican regulations, while acting as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams including Fulfillment, Operations, Finance, Legal, and external brokers and freight forwarders.

Essential Functions and

Responsibilities

Own and manage core customs compliance processes, ensuring consistent execution, documentation, and continuous improvement Establish, maintain, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and control frameworks Proactively identify process gaps and lead corrective actions to strengthen compliance and operational efficiency Act as the primary point of accountability for customs-related workflows, ensuring alignment across internal stakeholders and external partners.

Own the end-to-end HTS classification process for U.S. and Canadian imports, ensuring accuracy at the 10-digit level Manage country of origin determinations and supporting documentation for all applicable products Maintain and govern the internal classification database, ensuring data integrity and alignment with broker systems Partner with Product Development and Costing to support new product launches, classification strategy, and landed cost optimization Lead ongoing audits of HTS classifications and FTA eligibility, including Post Summary Corrections (PSC) Oversee daily import/export compliance activities across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements Manage broker relationships and performance, ensuring accurate and timely entry filings Own issue resolution processes, including root cause identification, corrective actions, and stakeholder communication Oversee cross-border logistics processes, including in-bond shipments and valuation/reconciliation audits Support and enhance export compliance processes for ROW shipments Support and help manage FTZ operations, including admissions, transfers, and withdrawals in compliance with CBP regulations Ensure accuracy of FTZ inventory records, reconciliation processes, and reporting requirements Partner with operations and brokers to maintain compliance with classification and status designation rules Support FTZ audits, reviews, and continuous improvement of operating procedures Contribute to the management and enhancement of CTPAT and ISA programs, including risk assessments and audit readiness Support duty drawback, CAPEX assists, and trade program optimization initiatives Ensure documentation, controls, and reporting meet regulatory and internal standards Drive continuous improvement in trade program utilization and compliance Own key compliance KPIs, including duty spend and entered value metrics, ensuring accuracy and visibility through tools such as Domo Maintain integrity of trade compliance data within Oracle and related systems Lead or support automation initiatives related to invoicing, COO management, and compliance reporting Provide training and guidance to internal teams on customs processes and shipping platforms Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Knowledge and Skills

Requirements

Strong expertise in U.S.

HTS classification, country of origin rules, and CBP regulations Deep familiarity with USMCA, FTZ operations, CTPAT, ISA, and duty drawback programs Proven ability to own and manage processes, drive improvements, and operate independently in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Oracle or equivalent ERP experience preferred Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications: 7+ years of experience in customs compliance, international trade, or import/export logistics Bachelor’s degree required; Licensed Customs Broker strongly preferred Work Environment / Physical

Requirements

  • Normal office conditions with extensive computer and phone usage.
  • Ability to work extended hours as necessary.
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.
  • Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.
  • Frequent travel may be required.

  • We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
  • The expected annual base pay range for this position is $88,000 - $100,000.
