Senior Design Engineer, Mechanics

We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our team in Oulu. As our Senior Design Engineer you will be an integral part of Oura mechanics team and will help walk the product all the way from prototype concepting phase to mass manufacturing and its constant development.

What You Will Do

Your tasks include mechanics design of Oura products, product concept creation, prototyping in our internal laboratory, production support in manufacturing partners and suppliers. This position also includes independent mechanics project management in selected areas.

We would love to have You on our team, if You have:

• Have at least 10+ years of experience in similar role(s)
• Prior experience of product concepting and product mechanical design in product program
• Creative mindset and interest in the latest technologies
• Diligent way of working and ability to take initiative
• Good problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
• Design skills with SolidWorks or similar 3d mechanics design SW.
• Fluency in English to be able to co-operate with suppliers and partners from all around the world
• B.Sc or M.Sc degree in mechanics or in a relevant field of study.

We also appreciate, if you have:

• Good knowledge of manufacturing technologies for metal and plastic parts
• Knowledge of coating and dispensing technologies
• Knowledge of production automation design
• The role requires some travelling, up to 50 days per year.
