Our Consumer Apps division — including Trailforks, Gaia GPS, and MapMyFitness — is looking for a hands-on Senior Designer (Brand & Marketing) to join our team. This role is focused on crafting thoughtful effective creative across our product, marketing, and brand touchpoints. You’ll collaborate with cross functional stakeholders such as product managers and designers, marketers, and our editorial team to bring our brand strategy and designs to life. This role is ideal for a mid level designer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can navigate ambiguity with strong design fundamentals and a systematic approach, and overall is passionate about helping to get everyone outside.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality design solutions across product and marketing surfaces, including email, social, in-app experiences, landing pages, and more.  
• Thrives on collaboration and has a design process that allows for speed and agility.
• Contributes to brand systems and visual language through exploration, and builds consistency through all touchpoints.
• Applies insights from data, testing, and user behavior to iterate and improve creative performance.
• Clearly communicate design decisions to stakeholders.
• Stay current with trends and tooling, specifically AI, to improve efficiency and quality of work produce and bring useful discoveries back to the broader team.
  
  

Skills and Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in design, preferably digital products or an agency background.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating craft, systems thinking, and performance driven work.
• Experience working within brand guidelines and applying design systems.
• Ability to design for modern digital channels (social, paid media, lifecycle, and in-product) as well as an appetite to explore design solutions for new channels such as experiential.
• Experience with AI tooling to accelerate design & prototyping (Figma Make, ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, or similar) as part of your design workflow to assist in ideation, exploration, or other rapid production.
• Build functional, interactive prototypes using AI-assisted code generation (when needed) to validate concepts with real interactions, not just static mocks — bringing testable experiences iin hours rather than weeks.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and an appetite to learn new ones
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  
  

Bonus Qualifications

• Passion for outdoor recreation, fitness, or wellness — and a desire to inspire others to explore more.
• Photography experience or passion that inspires day-to-day executions.
• Familiarity working with other motion designers, videographers and photographers, or illustrators is a plus.
  
  

What We Offer

Entirely remote jobs that could be performed in Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary of  between $75,000 to $95,000.  Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission . Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away,  sick leave, and more.  This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
