Vizrt is seeking a talented and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure to support our media production and broadcast solutions. This role requires a strong background in cloud technologies, automation, and a deep understanding of DevOps principles.

Key Responsibilities :

• You will contribute to the development of new features and enhancements in existing applications.
• You will collaborate closely with the software development team, contributing to delivering infrastructure as code (Terraform) that will help our customers produce live productions using cloud technologies.
• You will provide scripting to automate the configurations of software on windows and linux AWS EC2 instances using Powershell.
• You will create jobs using Jenkins and Hashicorp Packer or Amazon EC2 Image Builder to automate the creation of pre-configured AMIs.
• You will collaborate closely with the operations team, making sure everything is stable and responding to support cases if needed.
• You will maintain and improve the security and quality of existing infrastructure and architecture in the cloud.

Requirements

• You have experience in the IT industry in roles such as Cloud Engineer (AWS), Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Engineer, Automation Engineer, System Administrator or Support Engineer.

• You have experience in Windows and Linux configuration management.
• You have proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies, particularly Terraform and Packer.
• You have coding skills in PowerShell and .NET
• You have hands-on experience with Docker Container technology.
• You have strong grasp of Networking principles.

A plus if you have

• Familiarity with AWS services such as Fargate, S3, EC2, ECS, WAF, and ALB is a plus.
• Bonus points for experience in Security/Penetration testing.
• Experience in Automated testing is a great advantage.
• Familiarity with Integration testing.
• Knowledge of .NET/C# is useful.
• Experience in Windows hardening is appreciated.
