What We Need

The role will focus  on a future 31st Union developed title. Founded in 2019, 31st Union is a SF Bay Area studio with a team of experienced AAA developers led by Michael Condrey, a former Call of Duty studio head. Reporting to the VP/GM Publishing, the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing  will drive go to market plans for 2K’s newest IP, own the overall marketing strategies that drive acquisition, engagement, and monetization opportunities for live-service focused AAA projects. This will require analytical rigor and marketing expertise, as you optimize our channel and lifecycle strategy to drive sustainable growth for the business.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for leading and implementing our overall marketing strategy, brand, and product positioning, and overseeing execution across growth marketing, community activation, and lifecycle management.
  • Guide the long-term franchise strategy, set the overall multi-year brand vision including attributes, tone and messaging.
  • Responsible for leading campaigns and being the decision maker for the global franchise go-to-market plan.
  • Hire, lead and grow team of hard-working direct reports leading team performance review, development/growth plans for a high-performance team.
  • Lead development and management of marketing budget proposals, demonstrating clear understanding of the business targets, audience (and how to reach them). Including ideas for growth that may require more funding or ideas for efficiency or budget reallocation.
  • Input into business targets, promotional pricing plans, digital product sales plans and then ensure this is translated into relevant marketing plans/actions.
  • Liaise with Performance Marketing, Commercial and Analytics teams to mine data and insight into game behaviors, sales achievement, audience/consumer behaviors, paid media critical metrics, creative usage/engagement, CRM results in each relevant territory, developing actions for marketing to continuously optimize and strive to exceed targets.
  • Be a true expert on our products, our consumers, our competitors, and culture
  • Manage and lead direct reports to provide timely updates, assets & direction, and manage timelines to ensure all achievements are achieved throughout planning and execution phases.
  • Develop a process with Product and Monetization team for regular user data review, communicating cross-functional updates as appropriate, and adjusting marketing plans based on findings.

  • 8+ years of marketing experience in fast-paced, dynamic, consumer-focused technology companies
  • 3+ years of leadership in video game live services
  • Proven leadership and influence with cross-functional, operating teams that built execution success with positive teamwork and morale
  • Strong analytical skills and business judgment to inform Live Services strategy and planning.
  • Insight driven marketer that cares equally about brand reputation and meeting sales/revenue targets.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $2700,000 and $320,000 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

 

Estimated Salary range:

Our salary intelligence, powered by our AI algorithms, has calculated an estimated range for this position between $150,000 - $180,000 . Please note that the actual salary for this position may vary, as it is dependent on various factors including but not limited to experience, location, and market dynamics.
