We are looking for a talented Senior Environment Artist to join our Art team. As a 3D Environment Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality Environment assets for the well-known AAA+ game project.

Responsibilities

• Create modular level art assets and props from scratch.

• Create, trim sheets, tileable and unique textures, and effectively combine them to create high-quality assets.

• Optimize assets for different platforms, including creating LODs and collisions

• Provide mentorship to other Environment Artists, making the team around you stronger through individual guidance, tutorials, documentation.

Requirements

• Strong ability to create, trim sheets, tileable and unique textures, as well as combine them effectively. In this position, you will primarily be creating assets from scratch rather than placing them on the map.
• Very strong modeling background, ideally in a variety of styles. Ability to manually adjust weighted normals for assets.
• Strong knowledge of baking and texturing with tools such as Marmoset, Substance Painter, and Designer. Ability to seamlessly bake assets made of multiple parts.
• Strong Maya experience is a plus.
• Ability to work with Unreal Engine 5.
• At minimum, 3 shipped titles that exhibit AAA game-quality art.
• At minimum, 5 years of professional experience in the video game industry building architecture and props.
• A passion for creating games and the ability to learn quickly will be a plus.
