We’re looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team at the Media & Technology Centre in Biggin Hill. This maternity cover role offers the opportunity to gain significant exposure to a dynamic finance environment within an iconic global sports entertainment business. Growing commitments within our complex Group could potentially lead to a longer-term or permanent role. What You’ll Be Doing As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you’ll play a key role in financial control, planning, and reporting for various divisions of Formula 1. Your responsibilities will include: Main duties and responsibilities To work with and support the other members of the M&TC FP&A team in achieving its various responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following: Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
What We’re Looking For Qualifications: Recently CIMA qualified History of excellent academic achievement Strong academic background and degree from a well-regarded university Experience: Budget and forecast preparation Experience of analysing actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts and providing meaningful and insightful related reporting Stable employment history Knowledge & Skills: Good analytical and financial reporting skills and attention to detail A solid foundation of basic accountancy skills including an understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.Advanced MS Excel skills Ability to support and build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders Desirable: Experience with Power BI and/or Power Query Ability to leverage emerging technologies for collaboration Personal Qualities: Hard-working and able to commit to wider team objectives/deliverables which might mean working to tight deadlines Good oral and written communication skills The ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders at various levels within the organisation Excellent attention to detail Able to take direction, work as part of a team or on their own, at times demonstrating initiative where required Please note that you must be able to commute to our Biggin Hill office for this role.
