Let’s start with the role

As a Senior FX Risk Executive you will be responsible for managing and mitigating foreign exchange (FX) risks within the organization. This role involves analyzing market trends and implementing policies to protect the company against adverse currency fluctuations. The Senior FX Risk Executive collaborates closely with all finance teams, bank institutions, and other key departments to ensure effective risk management. Moreover, this role will be participating very actively in the company’s expansion plan by analyzing new markets and assessing potential risks and their impact on the organization’s financial performance.

• Identify, monitor and manage FX risks across a wide selection of currencies;
• Design, test, and update Treasury Risk Management controls and Strategy (focusing especially on FX risk management and hedging strategies);
•  Design or redesign as well as oversee the preparation of dashboards (FX exposure, bank fees, short-term investments) and ad hoc reports for top management;
•  Actively participate in the Group’s market expansion plans with special focus on FX-related issues, exploring cash management options and Treasury operational set-up;
• Manage and optimize short-term investment facilities;
•  Support the cash flow forecasting process;
• Participate actively in the Treasury Management System implementation project and propose as well as exploit opportunities to improvef Treasury processes;
• Maintain good relationships, both internally and externally at all levels;
• Participate in ad hoc projects and duties.

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a relevant role within a corporate/banking environment, preferably with international exposure;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantitative or Financial discipline;
• Sound understanding and prior experience in FX risk management and hedging;
• A postgraduate degree in a quantitative or financial discipline would be preferred;
• Extensive experience in risk management, treasury, or support functions with exposure to the balance sheet, financial products, and financial/risk analysis;
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English;
• General understanding of treasury products, including securities, derivatives, and a diverse range of underlying asset classes.
