Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior 3C Game Designer to join our team working on an unannounced new AAA game in the World of Tanks franchise. The game has hero shooter elements, where tank commanders engage in thrilling PvP battles while driving mighty vehicles. You will focus on improving everything related to “tank feeling” as a powerful and formidable machine, including camera’s functionality and its feedback, vehicle movement, and shooting mechanics.

Lead Game Designer

What will you do?

• Execute the game vision as set by the Design Director and Product Director;
• Develop and refine vehicle controls, collaborating with the team on vehicular physics;
• Improve vehicle camera behavior and feedback, including reactions to shooting, camera shake, recoil, etc.;
• Work with VFX artists to create shooting effects and damage feedback;
• Collaborate with sound designers on SFX to elevate the gameplay experience;
• Refine shooting look and feel;
• Adjust vehicle reaction to in-game events, such as collisions with objects and other tanks, receiving damage,
• Focus on improving player immersion and the overall gameplay experience.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience creating 3C systems in FPS/TPS shooters;
• A track record of shipping FPS/TPS titles on PC or Consoles;
• Experience working on PvP/PVE shooters;
• In-depth knowledge of core shooter gameplay systems;
• Being an active player on PC and Console;
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility;
• Proficiency in English (Full Professional level);
• Hands-on experience with game editors, such as proprietary game engines, Unreal Engine, or Unity;
• Desire to learn and explore how things work.

• Background in Vehicle shooters;
• Ability to learn fast;
• Experience in prototyping game mechanics;
• Prior experience designing 3C systems for console games.
