As a Senior Global Supply Manager, you will work with WHOOP supply chain, Hardware Engineering, and other internal teams to manage Contract Manufacturers (CM) located in North America and Asia.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own the commercial interaction with CMs from quoting through execution stages for all their cost elements and incurred variances.

Conduct regular business review with CMs to discuss capacity plans, clear-to-build readiness evaluation, and ensure continuous performance improvement.

Partner with internal teams as Manufacturing Technology, Design, and Supplier Quality to secure the optimal performance of CMs

Identify opportunities to optimize CM quality/delivery/cost/inventory targets

Publish KPIs for weekly, monthly, quarterly performance.

Monitor, audit and approve CM quoting and observe trends in actual billing

Work collaboratively in a startup environment with a high-performance supply chain and hardware engineering team

Up to 25% travel required, domestically and internationally

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS degree in technical disciplines is highly desired

8+ years of experience in either of the following or the combination through the whole lifecycle of a product from NPI to MP

PM or GSM in an electronic consumer product environment, preferably fitness wearables, working with the Contract Manufacturers

PM or Account Manager of a contract manufacturer, working w/ their OEM customers, preferably fitness wearables

Deep understanding of the technology and manufacturing process of the Contract Manufacturers and expertise on how the MVA cost is structured and determined

Strong understanding and extensive working experience with Asian CMs desired

Certifications in APICS-CSCP or ISM-CPSM a plus

Experience in Arena PLM software a plus

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
