The Senior Head of Optimization will lead the organization’s efforts to transform our ways of working and optimize business processes through end-to-end continuous improvement and automation initiatives. This role combines change management and transformation leadership through hyperautomation. It entails the direct management of the Operational Excellence function, ensuring alignment between technology-driven automation and broader business performance goals.

The ideal candidate will possess a strategic understanding of optimization methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)  and advanced technologies, such as robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI), low-code/no-code platforms and integration tools. This person will effectively leverage a wide range of organizational resources in order to foster a culture of continuous improvement and deliver digital transformation across the organization.

• Manage the Operational Excellence team, including the RPA division, while leveraging multidisciplinary teams to deliver the hyperautomation agenda;
• Define and implement an integrated hyperautomation strategy to enhance productivity, cost efficiency, and risk management, aligning with operational goals;
• Establish and track KPIs to measure the impact of automation and process improvement initiatives;
• Lead the new Center of Excellence (CoE) and Hyperautomation Office (HAO), collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and execute automation and process optimization projects;
• Partner with IT and business leaders to evaluate, select, and deploy hyperautomation solutions (e.g., RPA tools, AI/ML models, low-code platforms);
• Be the main driver in identifying operational pain points and design tailored automation that combine automation with process optimization;
• Advocate for hyperautomation and operational excellence across the organization
• Provide thought leadership and education on trends, tools, and best practices in automation and process improvement;
• Drive Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize business processes.

 

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or MS) is preferred;
• 10+ years of experience in operational excellence, digital transformation, or automation roles;
• Proven experience managing large-scale process improvement and automation initiatives;
• Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies;
• Strong knowledge of hyperautomation tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar platforms, along with familiarity with AI/ML and process mining;
• Visionary leadership with a focus on innovation and operational excellence;
• Strategic thinking with a focus on measurable outcomes;
• Strong analytical mindset with a results-driven approach;
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage complex initiatives;
• Expertise in change management and driving cultural shifts;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
