The opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior Licensing & Credentialing Specialist to help set a foundation and establish best practice workflows as it relates to our Licensing and Provider Onboarding efforts.  This role (reporting to the Senior Manager of Licensing) will drive projects related to onboarding, licensing, and compliance. The Senior Licensing & Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for responding to onboarding new providers, performing primary source verifications, managing provider licensure, onboarding new providers, performing primary source verifications, managing provider licensure, maintaining documentation related to licensing and credentialing, and interfacing with cross-functional (onboarding, legal, etc) teams as it relates to provider hiring and onboarding. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain a system of work, including processes and procedures, for Midi Health’s multi-state licensed clinicians, including MDs and nurse-practitioners using NCQA and CAQH standards
  • Track provider licensure, expirations, re-validations
  • Responsible for ensuring and maintaining up-to-date data for providers in Midi Health’s credentialing database, including primary source verifications
  • Responsible for ensuring onboarded providers/practitioners are credentialed in accordance with state, federal, and NCQA accreditation requirements
  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding licensing to internal stakeholders, including timely responses, status updates, and insight on the licensing process as needed
  • Monitor and maintain collaboration agreements to ensure ratio requirements are met and facilitate completion of annual re-signing and board registration requirements where necessary
  • Key stakeholder in Midi Health’s evaluation and implementation of a credentialing software
  • Serve as a cross-functional partner as company grows with respect to clinician onboarding processes,licensing workflows, and other regulatory requirements
  • Liaison between third-party vendors and Midi Health providers 
  • Assist with provider license applications and renewals as needed
  • Additional duties and ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications: 

  • Three to five years in provider enrollment, credentialing, and/or licensing
  • Experience working with providers, payors, and health systems
  • Experience using credentialing databases
  • Experience implementing and activating provider collaborations.
  • Project Management experience
