A Brief Overview

The Sr Marketing Manager-CRM is the main point of contact for marketers across the country for email marketing and targeting strategy. They have a deep understanding of CRM processes and tools used within the company and help navigate any issues. This role is responsible for identifying procedural or technical issues and solve or guide coworkers toward solutions. They will manage the email team and help project manage larger strategic initiatives spanning email, analytics and data platforms. This role is involved with setting the level of priority for product enhancements or adjustments, helping direct development to incorporate CRM best practices. The Sr Manager Marketing-CRM is responsible for improving the CRM strategy to drive ticket sales, loyalty, and KPIs. They interact with outside vendors who help customize and develop tools that improve the fan experience. Finally, they will leverage huge datasets to derive insights on the customer base.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the CRM staff, and help optimize distribution of workload, specifically related to email channel and customer segmentation, by overseeing email channel and calendar, and leveraging applicable tools, including but not limited to esp, cdp and data hub.
  • Contribute to operations by generating email targeting audiences directly within data hub or CDP.
  • Interact with key stakeholders to develop strategy, find consensus, or capture requirements for business operations within direct marketing, across email and CRM.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups including Product, Paid Media, Marketing and external vendors for product development, optimization or councils, for purposes of augmenting the efficiency and capabilities of our CRM ecosystem.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis across campaigns, business units and festivals to provide guidance for stakeholders and inform decision making as it relates to email strategy and customer behavior.
  • Improve quality and completeness of data sets, by assisting analytics team providing data points necessary for indexing customer database and ensuring successful data collection via non-standard ingestion methods.
  • Raise the level of comfort and understanding for internal tools’ users, through knowledge of the product and business strategy. Work with the regional offices to teach them unique use cases and provide operational or strategic guidance.
  • Own the process, and quality, of ad hoc data ingestion, from web forms to nonstandard transactional data, to help increase the size and quality of our data base.
  • Assist Analytics team in the form of larger initiative project management or taking on certain (semi)templatized reporting requests related to CRM.

Education Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) In Business, Marketing or Finance

Experience Qualifications

  • 6-8 years Of related work experience
  • 0-2 years Managerial experience
  • Experience in project management a must, technical or otherwise.
  • Experience in omnichannel, lifecycle marketing
  • Experience overseeing technical integrations, connecting disparate systems preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Capacity to take comprehend and distill complex problems, and find efficient and effective solutions
  • Strong communication skills, with the tact required to garner consensus across teams
  • A high baseline of technical competence, whether in the form of data analysis, systems integrations, data manipulation (Power Excel user, versed in SQL, scripting languages a la Python a nice plus not required).
  • Deep knowledge of email service tools, mechanics of mailing, HTML, deliverability, etc.
  • Understands how to use and improve the use of customer data platforms
  • Knowledge of the mechanics and usability of tracking pixels.
  • Proven leadership experience including managing and mentoring a team and ability to influence and interact successfully with diverse individuals at all levels
  • Comfortable adapting to new technologies and eager to use emerging technologies to create efficiencies
  • Proven history of decision-making excellence and cross-functional influence through insights
  • SAAS vendor analysis preferred

Payscale: $75K - $82K

Bonus: (If applicable) This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
