Opportunity 

Twin Health is in search of an experienced Senior Manager of IT with a demonstrated history of success in startup environments. Health care experience is preferred but not required. Twin is a remote first organization but given the nature of this role travel to the Mountain View, California office may be required on occasion. The position offers flexible hours, with a requirement for coverage during core hours. Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, this hands-on role will play a pivotal part in scaling IT operations to support business growth.

Responsibilities 

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and lead a team of two direct reports, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. 
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, ensuring high levels of engagement and productivity.
  • Establishes efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with internal customers and external vendors.

Technical Environment:

  • Oversee and maintain the IT infrastructure, which includes Zendesk, Google Workspace, Slack, Macs, PCs, Zoom, Sophos, Syncro RMM, Jamf, and MS Office.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement in our technical landscape.
  • Developing zero trust deployment functionality for IT.
  • Manage and prioritize Zendesk support requests. 

Hardware Management:

  • Responsible for ordering, provisioning, and managing computers and hardware. 
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of IT equipment and software.

Auditing Activities:

  • Participate in regular IT audits to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
  • Implement corrective actions based on audit findings to enhance overall security posture.

Documentation Maintenance:

  • Review and update IT documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Implement organized and efficient documentation practices for easy reference and troubleshooting.
  • Create instructional documentation for end users.

IT Roadmap:

  • Drive the development and execution of the IT roadmap, aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT strategies into the broader company roadmap.

Quarterly Planning:

  • Lead quarterly planning sessions to define IT goals, projects, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure that IT initiatives support the overall business strategy and contribute to the company's success.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree or IT management certifications such as ITIL Foundations or Intermediate level. 
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in a leadership role within IT, with a focus on remote team management.
  • Strong knowledge of the technical environments, including Zendesk, Google Workspace, Slack, Macs, PCs, Zoom, Sophos, Syncro RMM, Jamf, MS Office, and zero touch deployments. 
  • Experience in hardware management, procurement, and vendor relationship management.
  • Familiarity with IT auditing processes and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align IT initiatives with business objectives.

Compensation and Benefits  

The compensation range for this position is $125,000-$135,000 annually.
