LA28 is the independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The 2028 Games mark the return of the Summer Games to the U.S. for the first time in 32 years and Los Angeles’ third time hosting an Olympic Games and first time welcoming the Paralympic Games. Senior Manager, Results Technology

The Senior Manager, Results Technology Services, is responsible for overseeing the delivery of timing, scoring, and results technology services provided by key partners, including Omega (Timing & Scoring) and Deloitte (Systems Integration). This role ensures seamless execution of cross-functional deliverables and supports the Head of Results in planning and implementing critical activities for LA28. 

Reports to: Head of Results, within the Results Technology Services Functional Area. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of cross-functional requirements as outlined in the Omega PTA and Deloitte PISA agreements. 
  • Oversee project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality execution. 
  • Lead transition planning activities across all phases of the Games. 
  • Support the Head of Results in test event planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and technical rehearsals. 
  • Coordinate with various Functional Areas in LA 28 like Venue Technology, Telecoms, and Sport Teams to ensure readiness and compliance with technical standards. 
  • Manage requirements related to venue planning, including cabling, containment, power, and structural needs. 
  • Oversee the delivery of video adjudication systems for all sports. 
  • Maintain strong relationships with venue teams to ensure successful implementation of all venue requirements. 
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of course maps and course animations for applicable sports. 
  • Represent the Results Technology Services team in venue meetings, cross-functional meetings, and internal team discussions. 

Background & Requirements:

  • 7+ years in project management, technology integration, or major sports event operations. 
  • Project Management Experience of having worked in delivery of high-profile multi-sport events.  
  • Experience of working for delivering  
  • Proven track record of fostering, building, and maintaining successful relationships with external and internal clients including high-profile stakeholders. 
  • Experience working across a matrixed organization, managing multiple internal and external stakeholders simultaneously while serving a global mission 
  • Crisis management experience and ability to quickly, calmly and accurately address questions and concerns under high-pressure scenarios. 
  • Excitement for the role and opportunity to help shape the future of the Olympic and Paralympic Movement. 

Expectations:

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. 
  • Expertise in timing, scoring, and results systems. 
  • Ability to manage complex technical requirements under tight deadlines. 
  • Experience working with international sports federations and technology vendors. 
  • Familiarity with large-scale event planning and operational readiness processes. 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in technology, Sports Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). 

 

The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000.00 - 140,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
