To drive our continued growth, SeatGeek is looking for a Senior Manager of SEO to join our Growth Marketing team. 

In an industry that is very search focused and dynamic, you will develop and execute our strategy to capture and grow transactions through SEO, working alongside our product, marketing and data science teams to keep SeatGeek on the leading edge of organic search. 

What you'll do

  • Ensure SEO remains a critical and growing contributor to overall sales through aggressive vision, prioritization and goal planning
  • Own the relationship with our external partners
  • Build and organize a cross-functional SEO working team, providing strategic direction, prioritization decisions and coaching across agency and internal resources
  • Partner closely with dedicated partners in Product/engineering to ensure core website is SEO-optimized
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align our marketing strategies with enterprise-wide initiative
  • Clearly and concisely dimensionalize SEO health and performance for leadership and broad audiences on a regular basis
  • Find new strategies to acquire legitimate, editorial links to SeatGeek and perform keyword research to identify new keywords we're targeting

What you have

  • 8+ years of experience working on SEO, with at least 6 years of in-house or at agency experience
  • Existing knowledge of SQL, Looker (or another BI tool) and basic web development (HTML + JavaScript) is preferred. Anything you can point to that shows hands-on experience is great. Have you built a website? Helped one rank directly? Built a tool for automating some SEO workflow? Great! We want to hear about it.
  • Data savviness, and the ability to pull insights out of complex data sets
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to clearly and concisely articulate technical recommendations and insights leveraging only the most compelling data and analytics for support.
  • Prioritization and Trade-off skills: comfortable and adept at making regular prioritization and trade-off decisions that maximize short-term and long-term outcomes, given finite Product and team resources and competing priorities 
  • Familiarity with tools like ahrefs, Botify, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console

The salary range for this role is $118,000 - $180,000. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
