As a Senior Customer Success Manager, you will play a crucial role in analyzing media data to extract valuable insights for our clients in the sports marketing industry. This role focuses on utilizing provided data and modern analytical tools to develop models, interpret findings, and communicate results to evaluate media performance and measure sponsorship ROI. You will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, providing data-driven audience insights and strategic recommendations based on a deep understanding of the sports market.
Research and Methodology:
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in media evaluation, audience analytics, and sports marketing.
Maintain modern analytical techniques and tools to enhance data interpretation and reporting.
Contribute to the development and refinement of methodologies for media evaluation and sponsorship ROI measurement.
Client Communication and Reporting:
Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate findings to clients.
Effectively explain complex data analysis in a way that is understandable and actionable for non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and tailor analyses accordingly.
Present results and recommendations to clients in a professional and persuasive manner.
Data Analysis and Modelling:
Utilize existing datasets of media coverage from various sources (e.g., print, online, broadcast incl. TV ratings) to perform in-depth analysis.
Apply statistical skills to identify trends, extract key performance indicators (KPIs), and evaluate media effectiveness.
Analyse audience data to understand viewership, engagement, and demographics.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other members of the media delivery team to ensure consistent and high-quality analysis.
Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the team.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Experience:
Proven experience (5+ years) in data analysis and modelling, preferably in the sports, media, or marketing industries.
Strong understanding of media evaluation methodologies and KPIs.
Experience with sponsorship ROI measurement is a plus.
Experience working with television ratings data, such as Nielsen ratings, AGF ratings, etc..

Proficiency in statistical and data visualisation tools or packages (Excel/VBA, Power BI/Tableau, Python, etc) are an advantage

German - close to native; English - working proficiency

Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.

Familiarity with sports marketing and the media landscape.
