You will play a pivotal role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, continually deploying to an enthusiastic and global audience, helping to pioneer new territories in blockchain and entertainment.
We are looking for a product-minded, user experience-driven Senior Android Engineer to join the fast-growing, mighty mobile engineering team to ideate, design, implement, and maintain the best blockchain-powered mobile experiences for the first 1-billion mainstream users.
What we’ll achieve together:Create and refine high-performance mobile applications running on blockchainPut our users first and ship features that surprise and delightContribute to the ideation, technical design, implementation, and testing of product featuresCraft every interaction with our product to be a polished, memorable, and engaging experienceEvaluate technical trade-offs for every decisionAdopt best practices in software development and refine our workflowsIdentify areas in our technical stack to improve, prioritize rollout with the team, and contribute to the implementationBuild reusable components that are easy to use, maintain, and extendAbout you:BS/BA degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent years of experienceSolid understanding of Kotlin/Java internalsProficiency with multithreading and performance optimization techniques for AndroidStrong CS fundamentals (algorithms and data structures) and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of software design patterns and Android best practicesExperience working on consumer-facing mobile productsShip high-quality code in a fast-paced environmentOwned projects end-to-end and delivered them by hitting key milestonesFamiliar with Material Design guidelines and Android UI/UX best practicesHave a strong product sense and eye for pixel-perfect implementationHave great communication skills; you work well with others to make the product better every dayDapper Labs is the world's first blockchain entertainment company.
