We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer with a strong focus on networking and cloud technologies to join our Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT infrastructure systems. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of business needs.

In this role, the chosen candidate will be reporting directly under the Lead Infrastructure Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Design, implement, and maintain the organization's content delivery networks.
Design, deploy and manage Private and Public Cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, KVM, VMware
Optimize network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and availability.
Collaborate with other technical and non-technical departments to integrate infrastructure with broader IT systems.
Stay up-to-date with the latest networking and cloud technologies and industry best practices.
Adopt an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) mentality, utilizing tools and practices to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
Develop and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users as needed.
Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
Experience:

3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
3+ years of experience in network design and management.
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. (Ansible, Terraform, Python, Powershell)
Strong understanding of network protocols, security, and performance optimization.
Strong understanding of Infrastructure technologies, including on-premises solutions, Physical servers and Storage solutions.
Experience with managing and implementing a Content Delivery Network. (Cloudflare, Cloudfront)

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as:

Cloud Certifications; AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Azure Solutions Architect.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
CheckPoint Certified Administrator (CCSA) or Checkpoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE)

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Routing, Switching Firewalls).
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) is a plus.
Ensure a strong emphasis on security in all designs, implementations, and processes, consistently adhering to best practices.
