We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer with a strong focus on networking and cloud technologies to join our Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT infrastructure systems. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of business needs.

In this role, the chosen candidate will be reporting directly under the Lead Infrastructure Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Design, implement, and maintain the organization's content delivery networks. 
• Design, deploy and manage Private and Public Cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, KVM, VMware
• Optimize network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and availability.
• Collaborate with other technical and non-technical departments to integrate infrastructure with broader IT systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking and cloud technologies and industry best practices.
• Adopt an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) mentality, utilizing tools and practices to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Develop and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users as needed.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  
  
• Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• 3+ years of experience in network design and management.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. (Ansible, Terraform, Python, Powershell)
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure technologies, including on-premises solutions, Physical servers and Storage solutions.
• Experience with managing and implementing a Content Delivery Network. (Cloudflare, Cloudfront)

• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as:
• Cloud Certifications; AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Azure Solutions Architect.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
• CheckPoint Certified Administrator (CCSA) or Checkpoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE)
  
  
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Routing, Switching Firewalls).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Ensure a strong emphasis on security in all designs, implementations, and processes, consistently adhering to best practices.
