We are hiring a Senior Product Designer to our DOTS team in Brazil

Are you prepared to embark on a journey with our DOTS (Digital Operations and Technology Services) team? 

We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our mission of redefining digital experiences and transforming our ecosystem. This role goes beyond typical product design, we're in search of someone with a strategic mindset and holistic approach capable of influencing the direction of our business. As a member of our Brazil team, you'll influence the future of our digital products with a unique blend of design and business expertise. 
This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate and learn from a design community with over 36 talented and inspiring designers, covering all disciplines of design, and make a significant impact on our digital landscape.


As a Senior Product Designer within the DOTS team, your influence will be felt across various dimensions:

  • Define Product Direction: You'll play a crucial role in defining the direction of our digital products, setting high standards for design excellence;
  • Technical Leadership: Serve as a technical leader within your team and the broader Gympass UX community, guiding the technical vision of your product area alongside product and engineering leaders;
  • Roadmap Shaping: Shape the roadmap for discovery activities, providing valuable insights from the user's perspective;
  • Facilitate Decision-making: You will work closely with senior leadership to facilitate decisions on the company’s strategies and priorities;
  • Cross-functional Impact: You will work with other product teams to promote a consistent E2E user experience across the products and services of our ecosystem
  • Design Process Improvement: Work closely with Design Leadership to inform and enhance our design processes, ensuring continuous improvement with effective change management;
  • Live the mission: inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues. To thrive in this role, you should embody the following characteristics:

  • Culture Alignment: You resonate with our culture and work dynamics, eager not only to adapt but also to contribute to Gympass's bold and expansive spirit;
  • Professional Design Experience: You bring successful design experience, preferably from Technology Startup companies, and are used to designing digital platforms or applications;
  • Human-centered approach: You're adept at conducting research and collecting user insights to drive your design, keeping an eye on the competitive landscape, and letting user needs guide your design decisions;
  • Expertise in design processes: Deep knowledge of User Experience processes, information architecture, and interaction design is essential.
  • Expertise in Design thinking and Facilitation Skills: You use a collaborative approach in your projects, facilitating workshops remotely to support product ideation and decision-making. Ability to use digital collaboration tools such as Miro or Figjam.
  • Stakeholder Management: You're skilled in stakeholder management and adept at working with product managers to develop strategies and rationale for features.
  • Project Management: You have experience in project management, able to lead projects from conception to implementation effectively.
  • Prototyping Skills: Proficiency in prototyping to explore and convey design solutions. Proficiency in Figma.
  • Communication and Storytelling: Excellent communication skills are a must, both in Portuguese and English, enabling you to articulate ideas clearly and compellingly. You are passionate about storytelling and using data to support your arguments
  • Proactivity: You're proactive, innovative, and thrive in a hands-on environment.A true team player who loves working towards both team and individual goals with at least 0-3 years experience in business development, sales, corporate relationship management, or account management.
