Senior Product Manager - AI

Truveta was born in the Pacific Northwest, but we have employees who live across the country. Our team enjoys the flexibility of a hybrid model and working from anywhere.  In person attendance is required for two weeks during the year for Truveta Planning Week.

For overall team productivity, we optimize meeting hours in the pacific time zone. We avoid scheduling recurring meetings that start after 3pm PT, however, ad hoc meetings occur between 8am-6pm Pacific time. #LI-remote

Who We Need 

We are seeking a senior product manager to take ownership of Truveta’s generative AI research intelligence tools. These tools accelerate healthcare discovery by enabling researchers to ask natural language questions of the most complete and timely dataset in healthcare. 

This is a critical role at the intersection of healthcare, AI, and product leadership. You will define and execute the strategy for building trusted AI systems that set the standard for transparency, reliability, and impact in scientific research. 

Key Responsibilities 

Product strategy & vision 

• Own the roadmap for Truveta’s generative AI system, partnering closely with engineering to deliver impact.
• Balance rapid experimentation with long-term platform evolution to expand adoption of these capabilities across multiple user personas.
• Set the vision for the systems required to drive impact, from agentic workflows that serve customer scenarios, to robust feedback loops with annotators that continuously improve our AI. 

Customer empathy 

• Build intelligence capabilities that not only meet customer needs but also unlock new possibilities in healthcare and life sciences research.
• Drive adoption by enabling researchers to ask questions they could not ask before, and accelerate workflows.
• Partner with customers to validate solutions against real-world research scenarios while also pushing the boundaries of what is possible with GenAI in scientific discovery. 

Metrics & outcomes 

• Define and track usage, adoption, retention, and AI quality metrics. 
• Develop evaluation frameworks that measure scientific accuracy, transparency, and user trust. 
• Translate feedback from customers and telemetry into roadmap priorities that accelerate Tru’s impact. 

Key Qualifications 

Required 

• 7+ years of product management experience with a strong focus on AI/ML, NLP, or data-driven applications 
• Proven success shipping products in technically complex domains 
• Strong ability to translate cutting-edge AI into intuitive, high-value user experiences 
• Deep user empathy and sharp product instincts, with a bias toward rapid iteration and learning 
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to align diverse stakeholders 

Preferred 

• Background in healthcare or healthtech 
• Familiarity with large language models, generative AI, agentic systems, or information retrieval 
• Experience defining evaluation frameworks for AI that balance accuracy, reliability, and transparency 
• Success scaling enterprise-facing AI tools from early beta to broad adoption

• The base pay for this position is $175,000 to $205,000. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional compensation such as incentive pay and stock options.
