As the Product Manager for UI Ecosystems, you’ll own the overarching vision and strategy for Foundation, Roblox’s design system. Our goal is to raise the quality of our UI/UX across all platforms and unlock greater UI/UX capabilities for the company from a centralized, platform position. Roblox users expect and deserve a modern, standardized and coherent user experience and Foundation is how we deliver that.

You’ll report to the Director of Product for Consumer Frontend. This role is based at HQ (no remote option open).

You will:

• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for UI ecosystems and the Foundation design system.
• Help envision and build a unified, highly scalable, robust design system that empowers teams across Roblox to build high quality UI/UX.
• Help prioritize, track and measure design system completeness, as well as overall adoption and impact across the company.
• Shepard component migrations through AB and holdout testing to be certain of positive user impact, leading complex trade-off discussions where necessary.
• Help triage and prioritize all inbound requests for support from designers, PMs, and engineers across the company.
• Evangelize and drive accessibility improvements through both design system iteration and consulting with customer teams on their implementations.
• Communicate updates, milestones, and priorities effectively to stakeholders across the organization.
• Be the public face of Foundation with our Creators at events like our annual Roblox Developers Conference.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in user interface design and gaming to inform product decisions.

You have:

• 5+ years of Product Management experience with expertise in shipping high-quality consumer products across multiple platforms.
• Bachelor’s level degree in a relevant field (computer science, product management, design) or years of relevant experience.
• Strong design sensibilities and a history of strong product to design working relationships.
• Experience defining, managing, or driving adoption of design systems, UI platforms or platform-wide UI changes.
• Experience running complex, platform-wide AB tests and managing resultant trade-off conversations.
• Expertise in navigating platform product development where internal engineers/designers are your primary customers.
• Experience leading cross-functional execution with various teams including engineering, data science, design, marketing, partnerships, legal, and policy, to conceptualize, develop, test, and launch impactful UI changes.
• Deep experience in internal stakeholder management and alignment.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers. Experience with Luau, similar languages, and/or the React framework would be beneficial but are not required.
• The ability to clearly communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels.
• A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of game UI or multi-platform UI delivery would be beneficial but is not a requirement.
