Copenhagen

It’s an exciting time to join Tactile. We're a diverse team of storytellers, puzzle enthusiasts and casual mobile game creators, based in the heart of beautiful Copenhagen. Our story began in 2008, and since then we have experienced continuous growth, establishing ourselves as one of the largest gaming companies in Denmark. In more recent years, we have been scaling fast, in big part thanks to the success of a little game called Lily’s Garden. Now we’re on a mission to solidify our position as one of the leaders in creating out-of-the-ordinary casual puzzle games.

With more than 280 talented individuals, we are a mix of over 45 nationalities and 42% women. We truly appreciate the richness of different experiences and perspectives that Tactilers bring to the game. This is why we foster a lean organisational culture, in which each individual is encouraged to take responsibility, be open and grow in their own way. We pride ourselves in cultivating a studio environment that stays away from crunch, that fosters your skills no matter what your discipline is, and one that gives you a place to be creative alongside other passionate and invested storytellers! 🌱

🚀 Your role & impact:

We are currently growing our QA team and are on the search for Manual Games Testers to join our team of talented testers supporting our product operations.

The QA team at Tactile is responsible for ensuring our games perform flawlessly and deliver exceptional experiences to our users. But your role as games tester expands beyond just finding bugs - you’d be making an impact by identifying issues which will help our production teams avoid having the same problems in the future!

You'll be on the front lines from idea to release and get to experience the excitement of introducing features first hand. So, if you're all about delivering top-notch gaming experiences, then you might just be our missing piece! 🧩

This role is based in our beautiful Copenhagen office, as we truly believe that when talented people work closely together, amazing things happen! Please note that we cannot provide relocation support for this role.

Okay, let’s get a little bit more specific. Here’s what you’ll be doing on the day-to-day as a Games Tester within our QA Team:
  • Manually testing new game features for our hit, Lily’s Garden
  • Designing, building and maintaining test cases and testing scenarios for iOS, Android and Kindle
  • Being a quality advocate throughout the entire development lifecycle
  • Providing critical feedback to developers and product leads
  • Identifying opportunities for improving the development process

  • What we're looking for:
  • You have experience with navigating general QA processes
  • Experience with bug tracking software, such as Jira & TestRail
  • Understanding of Agile testing principles
  • You love to work independently and to take full ownership of testing tasks
  • Experience in working and communicating with development teams
  • You care deeply about user experience and have great attention to detail 👀
  • You are passionate about testing, not afraid to challenge the status quo, ask questions and bring in your experience

  • What’s in it for you?
