We’re looking for a Senior SEM & UA Specialist who will be the primary, hands-on expert driving our user acquisition campaigns across Search Engine Marketing channels, with a strong emphasis on Google Ads. This role is crucial for our aggressive growth plans on Freecash, demanding a deep focus on day-to-day execution, continuous experimentation, and direct optimization to scale our user base and impact our profitability across paid search initiatives.

What You’ll Do 🎯

  • Lead Hands-On Campaign Management: Independently plan, execute, and meticulously analyze large-scale user acquisition campaigns primarily across Google Ads Search, Display, App Campaigns, YouTube, and Demand Gen (formerly Discovery), while also considering other relevant paid search channels.

  • Drive A/B Testing & Optimization: Own the full experimentation lifecycle, from ideation to rigorous A/B testing of ad creatives, copy, and targeting, continuously seeking performance improvements and new growth opportunities across all SEM and UA efforts.

  • Data-Driven Performance: Dive deep into vast quantities of campaign data to identify granular optimization opportunities, refine audience targeting, and adjust bidding strategies to maximize ROI and scale within defined profitability goals for user acquisition campaigns.

  • Collaborate for Integrated Growth: Work closely with our Creative teams for ad asset development and with Data Analysts to enhance reporting and ensure comprehensive campaign understanding.

  • Market & Competitive Insights: Monitor market trends and competitor strategies within the mobile advertising landscape, translating insights into actionable optimizations for Search Engine Marketing and overall User Acquisition.

What You’ll Bring 💡

  • Solid experience (typically 4+ years) in performance marketing, with a proven track record of directly managing high-budget (e.g., $100k+ USD/month) user acquisition campaigns within SEM, particularly on Google Ads, ideally within the mobile app or gaming industry.

  • Deep practical expertise with Google Ads platforms and related tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads Editor.

  • Demonstrated ability to design, execute, and analyze robust A/B tests, driving measurable improvements in campaign performance.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, proficient in extracting actionable insights from large datasets to inform tactical and strategic decisions.

  • A strong understanding of mobile attribution models and how various in-app events impact SEM and UA campaign optimization.
