As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer joining WHOOP’s Growth team, you will work directly on our e-commerce platform, developing features that increase our sales and provide a delightful experience for our members. We make data-driven decisions since any change we make can impact our revenue directly. This will require a strong knowledge of web technologies and architectures as well as an understanding of core e-commerce concepts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Help execute WHOOP's vision to build/scale an ecommerce platform that allows WHOOP to offer accessories to our membersContribute to full stack development: JavaScript, Java, AWS and PostgresInterface with e-commerce platforms: Shopify, CommerceTools, and StripeWork collaboratively in a business growth environment with a product and technical visionConsistently deliver features and code with an iterative approachFacilitate, coordinate, and develop ad hoc experiments to promote growthSupport and up-level engineers in your team and neighboring teams through direct and indirect mentorshipQUALIFICATIONS:Development experience in JavaScript, HTML & CSSExperience with React and Next.jsExperience with headless content management systemsExperience with experimentation, data-driven development, and rapid iterationPreferred experience building in the e-commerce domain Experience with REST APIs & relational databasesPositive attitude and ownership mentalityStrong communication skills to work both collaboratively and independently
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
