As a Senior Software Engineer on the AI team, you will play a key role in building and scaling the systems that power WHOOP AI’s internal and member-facing experiences.

You will work across the stack to deliver high-quality features, contribute to agent orchestration system architecture, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to create seamless and impactful user experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• </b></br>
• <li>Work in a cross-functional team alongside product managers, designers, and data scientists to deliver end-to-end features</li>
• <li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end systems using modern frameworks and cloud technologies</li>
• <li>Design and build intuitive user interfaces and integrate them with robust backend APIs to deliver seamless member experiences</li>
• <li>Contribute to feature ideation, technical design, and implementation, translating business requirements into scalable solutions</li>
• <li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, following best practices for performance, security, and reliability</li>
• <li>Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues while continuously improving system performance and stability</li>

QUALIFICATIONS

• </b></br>
• <li>2–5 years of professional software development experience</li>
• <li>Experience building and maintaining high-quality, performant web applications using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS</li>
• <li>Experience designing and developing APIs (RESTful services preferred)</li>
• <li>Experience building solutions leveraging Large Language Models</li>
• <li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex problems into manageable solutions</li>
• <li>Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment</li>
• <li>A growth mindset with a strong desire to learn, iterate, and improve continuously</li>

• <div><em>The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $215,000.
• Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

• <div><em>In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.</em></div>
