We’re looking for a growth-minded technical lead for our 3-person growth engineering team, partnering closely with our growth function to build and optimize PushPress's PLG motion. You'll be responsible for the technical implementation and infrastructure that powers our self-serve journey, while collaborating with growth on strategy and experimentation. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You'll have significant autonomy to shape how we build and scale our PLG infrastructure. We're early enough that you'll define best practices and build foundational systems, but mature enough that you'll see immediate impact on real customers and revenue.
Impact You'll OwnPartner with growth to improve key PLG metrics: onboarding conversion, activation rates, free-to-paid conversion, and add-on adoptionBuild the technical infrastructure for rapid experimentation: feature flags, A/B testing framework, and analytics pipelineImplement growth initiatives across the product: in-app onboarding, usage-based triggers, billing experiments, and expansion promptsShip experiments weekly while maintaining code quality and system performanceDevelop data pipelines and dashboards to measure impact and inform decision-makingMentor and grow the growth engineering team as we scaleTechnical BarStrong TypeScript/Node.js skills with B2B SaaS experienceExperience building experimentation and feature flag systemsSolid understanding of SaaS metrics and funnel optimizationProficiency with our stack: Node.js, Fastify, React, MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ (or equivalent)Experience with product analytics tools (Segment, Amplitude, Heap, or similar)Bonus: Experience with customer data platforms or ML for personalizationPushPress is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and dynamic workplace.
