As a Senior Software Engineer on the growth team, you’ll be part of a team that will establish and transform the organization’s practice around experimentation and growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design and implement these solutions. Additional Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Provide technical leadership within the engineering team by setting technical direction, guiding architectural decisions, and promoting best practices.Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, fostering their professional growth and skills development.Act as a subject matter expert in specific areas of technology or domains relevant to our products, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.Lead cross-functional teams and projects, coordinating efforts, and ensuring effective communication between team members.Act as a technical point of contact for cross-functional teams and provide guidance on technical matters.Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to define long-term technical strategies and roadmaps.Drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that values diversity and different perspectives.Lead by example in terms of code quality, software design, and adherence to coding standards.Take ownership of critical technical challenges and provide guidance to the team in resolving complex issues.Influence technical decisions and advocate for best practices in software development across the organization.Represent the engineering team in meetings with stakeholders, articulating technical solutions and project progress.Play a key role in recruiting and onboarding new engineering talent, contributing to the growth of the team.The Person: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.7+ years of experience in software engineering.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Strong understanding of distributed systems and full-stack development,String programming skills with multiple front-end frameworks (ex. React, Vue.js).Strong experience developing REST API’S with multiple programming languages (ex. Node, RubyOnRails, GoLang).Strong understanding of feature flagging, A/B testing and experimentation concepts and tools (ex. LaunchDarkly, Split, Optimizely).Experience integrating with Customer Data Platforms (ex. Segment, GTM)Experience with agile software development methodologies.Experience with relational and non-relational databases (ex. Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).COMPANY OVERVIEW
