Do you have what it takes to bring our new store opening projects in the APAC region to the finish line through planning, preparation and procurement up to the actual execution of onsite tech installations?

If you ever wanted to fully own the new store opening process of a rapidly growing sportswear brand end to end from a technology perspective, look no further. We are hiring a retail-minded tech expert, who is not only superior at planning and organizing, but also enjoys getting their hands dirty! Literally. 

Your Team:

As you might expect from a sportswear brand with an emphasis on performance, the Retail Team at On is a fast-paced place to be. As a central part of our APAC new store opening team, you will collaborate with a wide array of functions ranging from designers and architects to IT, facility management, retail training and retail operations to facilitate successful new store openings and deliver outstanding staff training across the APAC region. 

Your Mission

  • Serve as primary point of contact of On´s retail tech department for internal and external partners during new store opening projects across the APAC region
  • Plan and align tech installation for new stores in close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as IT and construction 
  • Coordinate the procurement and delivery of tech equipment as well as on-site installations performed by yourself and/or external teams for technologies like POS, RFID, LED-Walls & Video Players
  • Train new and existing retail store personnel on tech related in-store processes
  • Maintain and improve IT systems in operating APAC stores collaborating with in-house & external specialists (e.g. bug fixing, troubleshooting, consistent improvements and updates)
  • Perform regular health checks across all APAC retail stores´ IT systems
  • Execute testing of new processes and software updates 
  • Support piloting of digital innovation projects in On’s own retail channels

Your Story:

  • 3-5 years experience as project manager, systems specialist or field engineer
  • Engineering or Computer Science degree is a strong asset
  • Proven track record to manage new (store) opening projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Well experienced with planning & executing IT & operational projects 
  • Ability to work independently on fast-paced projects
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for technology and innovation in hard- and software
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Detail oriented and motivated professional with desire to push the boundaries of conservative retail and process optimisation
  • Data driven personality with strong communication & problem solving skills 
  • Hands on and entrepreneurial mentality
