About the Role
As the SVP of Finance & Operations at PushPress, you will be pivotal in guiding our financial strategy and operations as we advance from a Series B company, forward. This leadership role is designed for a finance professional who thrives in high-growth environments and is eager to shape the financial foundation of a rapidly scaling company. You will collaborate closely with our leadership team to drive cross department strategic financial planning, optimize operations, and support our ambitious growth goals.
What You'll DoStrategic Financial Planning: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial plans. This includes overseeing quarterly and annual budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and long-term strategic planning. Develop detailed financial models to support business decisions and evaluate new initiatives.Operations: Lead and enhance company-wide operations by building and owning a comprehensive operational cadence, including annual planning, monthly and weekly reviews, and quarterly adjustments. Develop and implement a cohesive framework for operational cadence, incorporating best practices and a clear thesis on performance tracking and adjustment strategies to foster agility and accountability across all departments.Performance Analysis and Reporting: Design and maintain a robust financial reporting system that provides real-time insights into company performance. Create detailed reports and presentations for the executive team and board of directors, highlighting key metrics, trends, and strategic recommendations.Business Partnership: Act as a key business partner to other departments, providing financial insights and support to drive operational improvements and strategic initiatives. Evaluate the financial impact of business decisions, new projects, and growth opportunities.Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, multiple vertical team spanning Finance, Operations and HR. Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. Investor Relations and Fundraising: Support C-Suite in managing relationships with investors and preparing for subsequent funding rounds. Develop and deliver pitch materials, financial presentations, and investor updates. Assist in negotiating terms and preparing due diligence documentation.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies. Implement controls and procedures to mitigate financial risks and maintain audit readiness.What You'll NeedMinimum of 7-10 years in Finance, including significant experience in a leadership role within a SaaS or technology startup (series C +). Exceptional leadership skills with a history of building and leading effective teams in a multiple vertical alignment organization structure; including Finance, Operations, HR & LegalProven experience in leading and optimizing company-wide operations, to drive strategic alignment and performance across all departments.Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Experience with financial systems and tools, and a solid understanding of SaaS financial metrics and KPIs.Proven experience in managing quarterly and annual planning processes. Strong track record of optimizing financial operations, implementing best practices, and enhancing process efficiency.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a strategic approach to financial planning and business growth. Ability to anticipate and respond to market trends and changes in the business landscape.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
