About the role:

Who will you report to: Celine Laboute, Team Lead Warehousing & Logistics

Type: Full-time

Location: Berlin (Hybrid: 3 days in the office)

Team: Warehousing & Logistics

Duration: 30-40h / week - 6 months contract

Main Responsibilities:

Lead Project Management initiatives within the warehousing and logistics scope, with a particular focus on, but not limited to, the warehouse move for our German 3PL. Ensure seamless execution, alignment with business objectives, and the development of scalable processes that deliver long-term benefits.

Side Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage successfully the move of our 3PL in Germany, including and not exhaustive to: Mapping the project timeline, IT integration, optimization, matching quality requirements, cost optimization, test phase, communication with all stakeholders and keeping everyone informed
When necessary, step in to manage and drive day-to-day operations such as inbound, handling, and outbound activities, ensuring 3PL providers meet performance standards.
Monitor and control conversion costs and key performance indicators (KPIs) through the warehouse move
Identify continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing warehouse activities and processes.
Review, analyze, and approve 3PL invoices to ensure cost accuracy and accountability.
Proactively identify and implement new strategies for cost optimization while maintaining high service standards.
Ensure quality processes & regulations are strictly followed & monitored as per the Mars Regulations.

What you bring:

Proven experience in warehousing, logistics, and operations management (minimum 5-7 years).
Previous experience of a warehouse move would be a plus.
Strong understanding of cost control and KPI tracking in logistics operations.
Experience in project management, particularly in continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to review and control invoices from 3PL providers.
Knowledge & understanding of ERP, WMS & TMS.
Fluency in English is required; additional languages (e.g., German) are a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyse, manage, and interpret complex dataset to support decision making and optimization projects.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
