The Wow

The Senior Web Analyst will be responsible for supporting a myriad of teams throughout the organization with web analytics training, data and insights. The person in this role will need to be a self-starter who takes ownership and is able to prioritize their work in line with business and stakeholder priorities.The role is primarily intended to ensure we have high quality data on how people are using our site and apps and that key areas across the business are educated in using said data for their business decisions.

 

A taster of what you will be involved with: 

• Serve as an internal expert on web analytics tools, tracking and metrics, ensuring that web analytics is an integral part of the business
• Responsible for the data structure and integrity across web analytics tools
• Work with stakeholders to maintain a record of what is being properly tracked and monitored and what is not, recommending priorities for adding new tracking and monitoring capabilities
• Perform detailed analysis on visible trends or to support ad-hoc requests from stakeholders
• Provide training and education of web analytics to various stakeholders within the organisation
• Work with other parts of the business on integrations between web data and other sources
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practice

What we are looking for: 

• 3-5 years of tangible Web Analytics Experience (beyond the Google Analytics Certification)
• Experience of Front-end tracking techniques and tag management tools such as Google Tag Manager
• Strong Google Analytics knowledge, or a similar web analytics tool
• Understanding of (or passion to learn about) the impact of web analytics on an organization
• Strong communication, presentation and planning skills
• Experience in Data Visualization (through Google Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau or similar)
• Experience using Business Intelligence and Operational Intelligence tools
• A/B and multivariate testing knowledge
• Web technologies knowledge
• Experience using Google Big Query
• SQL experience

Extra Awesome:

• Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
• Experience of working in the iGaming industry
• Knowledge of programming languages like R or Python
