THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a SMB Sales Development Director to our Business Development team in Miami!

YOUR IMPACT

  • Ongoing hiring, mentoring and development of BDR’s (Business Development Representatives), which includes recruiting, hiring, and training new members. You will be responsible for leading and developing Gympass’ most promising talent pool for the coming years.
  • Develop the sales, product and industry skills of each team member;
  • Motivate team members through creative incentives;
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity;
  • Refine and evolve a scalable, measurable, and predictable process for running and growing the team;
  • Responsible for outbound campaigns strategy partnering with Growth Marketing;
  • Lead a team of 6-10 BDR’s, conducting continuous training and coaching to reach sales KPI’s and goals;
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting on volume statistics, lead pipeline, conversation of sales accepted opportunities and playbook effectiveness;
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with various levels of leadership within the sales structure in the organization (Sales, Pre-sales, Account Management, Growth Marketing, Events, among others);

Who You Are

  • A senior professional with a successful track record as a Account Executive in the SaaS space;
  • Nice to have direct experience managing a team of BDR’s;
  • Consistent track record of 100%+ quota achievement as an AE;
  • Proven track record scaling of large BDR teams;
  • Experienced in hiring and working in a rapidly growing environment;
  • High levels of self motivation, ownership, and adaptability, with the ability to  handle multiple responsibilities;
  • Power user of salesforce.com and BDR cadence management software.

See below for the annual base salary range for this role, which applies to New York, California, Colorado, Massachusetts and Washington. The base salary range for other locations may vary. Actual base salary will be dependent on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications and/or other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, this role may also be eligible to participate in either our annual bonus plan or a sales incentive plan, and our performance-based stock option program.
