Social Media Content Producer

Six-Month Contractor Position - August 4, 2026 - February 26, 2027

About This Role:

Ready to cook crazy social media ideas and bring them to life? As a PrizePicks Social Media Content Producer, you will create compelling, on-brand, made-for-social content designed to entertain and engage the PrizePicks community across all major and emerging social media platforms. This is a six-month, full-time (40 hrs/week) contractor position. Keep reading if you know ball, you’re tapped in on internet culture, and you’re a quick-turn content machine.  

Your Day-to-Day

• Brainstorm pre-planned and real-time reactionary social content ideas around relevant sports and culture narratives, with an emphasis on the NFL. 
• Execute upon approved ideas, creating static graphics, motion graphics, memes, photo manipulations, short-form video edits, templates, and other made-for-social assets.  
• Support with select live gametime shifts, working hand-in-hand with the gametime social media team to rapidly ideate and create quick-turn content based on live-game narratives. 
• Monitor trends—including trending storylines and social formats— keeping a finger on the pulse of what’s happening in real-time and vetting if PrizePicks should jump into the conversation, where, and how. 
• Monitor content performance to inform which formats the team should repeat, rethink, and retire. 
• Participate in relevant team meetings, including campaign planning sessions, ideation sessions, reporting syncs, and more. 

What You’ll Bring:

• Flexible scheduling. Sports and social media don’t operate within a typical 9-5. This position will be staffed in a hybrid role across standard business hours and weekend/evening hours, aligning with the 24/7 nature of sports. All applicants must be able to work one weekend (8-hour) shift per week with a typical weekly schedule of Sunday-Thursday.  
• Demonstrated expertise in multimedia content creation using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant software. All applicants must submit a portfolio of work samples. 
• Creative, outside-the-box thinking and a proven ability to translate ideas into high-impact creative executions.  
• Ability to work quickly without sacrificing brand standards or attention to detail. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and their best practices, with a focus on X, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads in particular. 
• Deep understanding of and engagement with internet culture and humor, and social-first formats. 
• Deep knowledge of league, team, athlete, and sports culture storylines, with an emphasis on the NFL. 
• Familiarity with the PrizePicks brand and product, and the real money gaming industry.

Where you’ll live:

• While we prefer candidates based in Atlanta, we are open to qualified applicants from anywhere in the U.S. and are willing to consider remote candidates. #LI-Remote

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00. At PrizePicks, we consider your role, level, and where you'll be working when determining our salary ranges.
