Barstool Sports is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join the Chicks in the Office team. Be a part of a close-knit team and one of the most popular and growing brands in pop culture. The ideal candidate will be someone who loves pop culture, knows & understands the CITO voice, can react to news quickly and create in real-time, is creative, and oversees all aspects of social media for Chicks in the Office.

What you’ll do:

• Manage content creation, social copy, and publishing for CITO
• Develop strategies to drive fan engagement and build community, engaging and interacting with followers
• Manage the post-sale process for social campaigns, including collaborating with various teams to advise on social creativity and write and copy-edit social copy
• Work closely and in sync with talent & producers on content creation and brand strategy
• Understand how to create and produce the same piece of content for each varying social platform including Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook
• Transcribe, caption, and caption-check video content as required
• Track content performance, discover, and implement actionable insights
• Have an eye on and develop the strategy for expanding onto newer social platforms - increasing reach and fan interaction with the brand
• Engage with followers, respond to comments & messages, and foster a positive & interactive community utilizing the CITO brand voice
• Consistently monitor social media for trending topics, breaking news, and conversations related to pop culture to integrate them into CITO’s content strategy
• Idiate custom concepts for the sales department to integrate ads into CITO’s social strategy seamlessly

What You Have

• 3+ years relevant social content creation experience
• Entertainment and digital media industry experience is required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment
• Ability to manage key stakeholders and prioritize appropriately
• Creative and critical thinking skills
• A passion for pop culture and staying up to date with the latest trends at all times including nights & weekends

Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000
