As the PrizePicks Social Project Manager, you will lead the organization and development of social media content across all major and emerging social media platforms – primarily through the creation of product-based social content, team and process organization, and gametime interaction with our audiences. 

 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for oversight of the day-to-day content calendar across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and emerging platforms (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Snap, etc.)
  • Assist in ideation and approvals for content across all channels.
  • Brainstorm new and creative content and growth strategies with the larger social media department and corresponding teams. Participate in internal ideation meetings.
  • Drive collaboration, asset management, and timelines with our content & creative departments + external agency partners.
  • Serves as a direct liaison and point of contact for department tech stack and software solutions.
  • Performs the role with an ‘always on’ approach to social media, constantly monitoring the daily fantasy industry, sports industries, influencers, and other related markets.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, apps, and effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media techniques.

 

What You Have

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management for a consumer-facing brand or within the sports industry.
  • Experience organizing teams and assets in Google Suite (Drive, Slides, Sheets, Docs)
  • Flexible schedule that allows for in-person availability during gametime windows (nights, weekends, major holidays like Thanksgiving & Christmas, etc.)
  • Firm knowledge of sports categories, primarily NBA, NFL, NHL, CFB, and CBB.
  • Ability to think creatively around narratives and content storytelling in sports.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Sprout Social or other calendar management & listening softwares is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Notion is a plus.
  • Someone with a creative eye for design and can operate in editing tools like Adobe Creative Cloud or Figma.
