We are looking for a Software Engineer (Backend and Infrastructure) to help build, maintain, and improve our backend services, development infrastructure, CI/CD systems, and internal technical workflows.

This role sits between backend development, DevOps, automation, infrastructure, technical operations, and AI tooling. You will contribute to online services while helping keep our build, deployment, development, and operational environments reliable, efficient, and scalable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Go (Golang).
• Design and support online features, integrations, and distributed systems.
• Contribute to system architecture, technical design, and code reviews.
• Manage databases, CI/CD pipelines, and development infrastructure.
• Automate build, test, deployment, and release processes.
• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Docker-based services and environments.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, security, and operational health.
• Investigate and resolve production and infrastructure issues.
• Support local LLM infrastructure and AI-assisted development workflows.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

Must Have

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with at least one programming language (Go, C#, Java, Python, or similar).
• Experience gained through professional work, internships, academic projects, open-source contributions, or personal projects.
• Solid knowledge of Git and Linux environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good written and reading comprehension in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis.
• Knowledge of Nginx, Traefik, Kubernetes, microservices, and networking fundamentals.
• Understanding of infrastructure security, monitoring, and system administration.
• Experience with local LLM platforms (Ollama, vLLM, Open WebUI, etc.).
• Experience in backend systems, online services, gaming, or simulation platforms.
• Demonstrated passion for technology through personal projects, homelab environments, research, or open-source contributions.
• Degrees qualifying under Türkiye's Bilişim Personeli regulations are an advantage.
