  • Build and maintain backend systems and APIs in service of these assessments.
  • Mentor other engineers as well as non-technical team members
  • Architect and build systems and user facing features in support of building assessments
  • Become an expert on our technology stack and ensure we build new components and applications in a scalable and robust manner.
  • Work closely with live-ops and the rest of the technical team to maintain a high-stakes, always-on product

You Have

  • 2+ years of experience working as a software engineer
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with multiple programming languages across front and back end development
  • Bonus: Experience developing game systems and architecture

You Are

  • A Full Stack Software Engineer who can work across different languages and stacks
  • Proficient in writing readable, extensible, testable, and well documented code
  • A strong technical contributor that can translate requirements into scalable architecture and code
  • A highly collaborative team member with the ability and willingness to work across disciplines to determine what’s best for the product. Mentorship a bonus.
  • Curious with an interest in understanding the scientific side of cognitive assessments
  • Bonus: Experienced with game engines like Roblox, Unity, Unreal Engine, etc
