<div>WHOOP is hiring a Software Engineer II to join the Business Systems team.

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain internal tools and integrations that power our business operations.

You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across WHOOP to ensure that our systems are scalable, reliable, and efficient, directly impacting how we serve members and scale the business.</div>

RESPONSIBILITIES

• </b></br>
• <li>Develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions that support internal operations, including integrations between business applications and services</li>
• <li>Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics), Membership Services, and other teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions</li>
• <li>Interface with critical business systems: NetSuite, Salesforce, Stripe, Boomi, and more, ensuring reliability, performance, and security</li>
• <li>Contribute to the design and implementation of APIs, data pipelines, and automation to improve business efficiency</li>
• <li>Collaborate with other engineers to share knowledge, establish best practices, and improve engineering processes</li>
• <li>Work collaboratively in a high growth environment with a product minded approach</li>
• <li>Consistently deliver features and code with an iterative approach</li>
• <li>Coach and up-level engineers in your team and neighboring teams through direct and indirect mentorship</li>

QUALIFICATIONS

• </b></br>
• <li>BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience</li>
• <li>2–4 years of professional software development experience</li>
• <li>Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript)</li>
• <li>Experience in API design, integrations, or middleware in a business systems environment</li>
• <li>Experience in relational database design, data modeling, and query optimization</li>
• <li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions</li>
• <li>Experience developing large scale, production-quality web applications&nbsp;</li>
• <li>Thrives with autonomy, with a positive attitude and ownership mentality</li>
• <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an eagerness to work cross-functionally</li>
• <li>Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions</li>

• Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
