WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH The Engineering Excellence team is a collaborative, high-growth environment working with engineers, product managers, and DevOps practitioners across Nike Global Technology. This role reports to Senior Director and sits within the CI/CD and Platform Tooling squad, contributing to Nike's developer tools consolidation initiative. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Nike is looking for a Software Engineer II who brings solid foundational engineering skills, a strong growth mindset, and a genuine passion for developer tooling and automation.

The successful candidate writes quality code, learns fast, and is energized by working on systems that have broad organizational impact. This role is for someone who wants more than a feature team — someone who cares about how software is built, deployed, and maintained across a large engineering organization. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control platforms, or DevOps tooling is a strong advantage. More than specific skills, Nike is looking for curiosity, drive, and the desire to build things right. 2–4 years of software engineering experience; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education, experience or training Working proficiency in Java, Node.js, Golang, React, or JavaScript with experience building functional, maintainable software in a team environment Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred), containerization fundamentals, and version control workflows using GitHub or equivalent Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, build pipelines, or DevOps tooling is a strong plus Collaborative mindset, • strong communication skills, and demonstrated ability to deliver results in an agile engineering team WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON You'll work on the tools and pipelines that Nike's global engineering organization relies on every day — real CI/CD infrastructure, GitHub integrations, and platform automation.
