WHY WE NEED YOU
As a Software QA Analyst, you would work to raise the bar on our mobile app and Hydrow connected fitness devices. In this role you will write detailed test plans, perform regression tests on existing features, manage software releases, and propose process improvements. You will work on a team with iOS, Android, and API developers, as well as collaborating with Product Managers to make sure our software meets customer needs. You will test, troubleshoot, and collaborate in an interactive, fast-paced environment and learn new skills along the way.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
In the first thirty days you will:
Onboard with the team and understand application scope, ways of working and team processes
Shadow a software release and assist with acceptance testing
Test tickets independently and contribute to our test case library
Investigate and reproduce customer issues

In the first three months you will:
Independently manage testing for a major feature
Independently manage a software release
Collaborate with other team members on improving quality processes and metrics
Contribute to development of our upcoming strength product
Have the opportunity to test our mobile applications, web app, internal tools, and backend infrastructure–wherever your interests take you!

WHAT TOOLS YOU WILL USE
  • adb
  • Charles (or other proxy software)
  • Jira
  • Zephyr (Jira test case management)
  • VPN
  • Android logcat
  • Command line tools
  • Some knowledge of Kotlin a plus
  • Knowledge of automated testing a plus
