Brodie Sports Group is one of North America’s fastest-growing basketball communities, delivering high-energy, premium recreational league experiences across 20+ locations.

We’re hiring a Sports League Manager to run our Edmonton leagues and create an environment players look forward to every week! This is a part-time, on-site role focused on delivering an exceptional game night experience.

What you’ll do

• Run smooth, organized, high-energy game nights

• Manage refs, scorekeepers, and game flow

• Be the go-to person for players and team captains

• Handle issues quickly and professionally on-site

• Keep schedules, standings, and game updates organized

What we’re looking for

Must Have

• Available to work evenings and weekends (typical schedule includes Sundays 6pm–8pm), with flexibility as schedules may vary based on facility availability.

• Strong presence and confidence in a fast-paced environment

• Organized, reliable, and calm under pressure

• Great communication and people skills

• Comfortable in sports, events, or customer-facing environments

Nice to Have

• Experience in sports leagues, events, or recreation programs

• Background in basketball or competitive sports

• Experience leading teams or managing operations

Independent Contractor Notice

This is an independent contractor role. You are responsible for your own tax remittances and applicable obligations. Brodie League retains the right to terminate this contract in accordance with the notice provisions set out in the written contractor agreement. The nature of this engagement will be assessed based on the actual working relationship, and contractors are encouraged to seek independent legal or financial advice prior to entering into this arrangement.
