Your mission
Job Description:
As a Sports Scientist at Output Sports, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sports-science team and ensuring the seamless delivery of our cutting-edge technology to our community of sports practitioners. You will work closely with the team, providing assistance through various channels including set-up calls, workshops, and ongoing support. Additionally, you will be instrumental in testing, preparing, and delivering our technology from our headquarters at NovaUCD. Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the sports-science team to provide support to end-users through set-up calls, workshops, and ongoing assistance.
  • Attend in-person meetings at our headquarters in Dublin (NovaUCD) to engage with the wider team and contribute to strategic discussions.
  • Test, prepare, and facilitate the delivery of Output tech to our community of sports practitioners, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment that encourages continuous learning and adaptation to cutting-edge technologies.
  • Contribute to the resolution of technical issues and improvements, providing high-quality service across multiple support channels including phone, email, and chat.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, fostering collaboration with both internal team members and end users.
  • Work autonomously and independently, demonstrating reliability in organisational and logistical tasks.
  • Utilise your sports-related qualification (e.g., S&C, Sports-Science, Physio) and experience in the sports industry to enhance our offerings and meet the needs of our users.

Your profile
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in S&C, Exercise Science, Rehab, Kinesiology, or related field.
  • Certification such as UKSCA, NSCA, CSCS preferred.
  • At least two years experience working as a Strength and Conditioning Coach.
  • Strong knowledge of sports science principles, with an understanding of how technology integrates into training.
  • Ability to conduct thorough athlete assessments and leverage technology for data-driven insights.
  • Proficiency in designing customized training programs, utilizing both traditional methods and sports technology solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both athletes and tech team members.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on advancements in sports technology.
  • Ethical conduct and respect for athlete welfare, maintaining confidentiality of data.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced tech environment.
