The Role: 

We are seeking a talented and proven Sr. Account Executive. As an integral part of our sales team, you will engage with our amazing customers (coaches), build lasting relationships, and evidence the value Scorability adds to the recruiting process. This could be a great match if you desire to make a strong impact and support the build of a sales function from the ground up. You must have a track record of success and hitting or overachieving quotas in a net new business focused sales role and be results-oriented, an excellent communicator, and a strong problem-solver who gets excited about helping college coaches recruit players with Scorability’s athlete database and customized software experience. This position is best suited for a sales professional with 5-7 years proven experience in a consultative SaaS sales role with 2-3 of those years being in a full-cycle, new business, closing role where you have hit or exceeded quota. The right team member will want to make an impact and mentor others while continuing to learn and grow through the value of direct sales mentorship from our CRO and CEO.

What you’ll do:

  • Become an expert in the Scorability software platform so you can show prospects the value of our service.
  • Own the entire sales process from prospect to demo to pricing to close with the support of our CRO/CEO. 
  • Take full ownership of your assigned prospects and create unique programs to effectively connect with them. 
  • Contribute to the build of the sales engine and function from the ground up, including partnering with leadership to put together best practices and A/B testing of sales tactics to best suit our prospective customers needs and wants.
  • Expertise conducting conversational product demos for prospective customers, serving as a trusted, knowledgeable resource.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales Operations to execute sales strategy and constantly refine the sales process from initial outreach to demo to pricing to close.
  • Effectively transition closed won accounts to the assigned Customer Success Manager.
  • Embrace continuing education and ongoing feedback to constantly improve your craft.
  • Thoroughly and efficiently use our technology stack (All HubSpot) to help make your job easier and provide the insights needed to improve the health of the business (experience with modern sales tools like Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, etc are aligned as well)
  • Willingness to support and partner in mentoring more junior sales teammates.
  • Comfort taking on special projects as assigned. 
  • Be a positive contributor to the company culture and the experience of your peers.

Experience we’re seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Marketing, Communications, or Computer Science preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 years demonstrated success in a consultative SaaS sales role with 2-3 of those years being in a full-cycle, new business, closing role where you have hit or exceeded quota. 
  • Experience working with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product or in the technology or data industries is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tailor solutions to unique customer needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
  • Highly motivated, with a proactive and self-driven approach to achieving sales goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving company that will experience major internal change and growth every year.
