Zynga is looking for a strong free-to-play game marketer with outstanding project management skills and a passion for launching new products and games to join our team! As the Senior Brand Strategy Manager, the position reports to the Lead Manager, Brand Strategy in our Go To Market division to lead the rollout and post-rollout execution of a new game launch, along with collaborating on early Go-to-market insights and strategies for new games in development.

Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with game studios and functional marketing leads to finish development and execution of integrated brand marketing plans for for a new game slated to launch in 2024, as well as post-launch marketing activities for 6 months after launch
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with other marketing disciplines, including user acquisition/performance marketing, social, influencers, platform partnerships, and more to develop and execute the overall go-to-market strategy both domestically and internationally
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for major in-game beats once game is live in-market
  • Work closely with game teams to provide detailed marketing forecasts and management presentations on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis.
  • Analyze performance of all marketing programs to identify the best opportunities for optimization, and regularly iterate to improve performance
  • Analyze player data to make recommendations and pivots to marketing strategy as needed
  • Be a “marketing ambassador” between the central marketing teams and game teams. Ensure goals and incentives are aligned across all teams including game studio, platform partnerships, marketing creative, lifecycle, paid acquisition, social and app store optimization.
  • Partner with Consumer Insights and the game team to influence the product strategy and roadmap of a new game in early production, ensuring the new game fits audience needs, is marketable and commercially viable. Begin to develop the brand positioning and go-to-market plan.
     

Required Skills & experience: 

  • 4+ years of experience in free-to-play game brand marketing with a strong track record of success and results across multiple game projects
  • Experience launching new and highly visible mobile products, including identifying a target market, creating a go-to-market strategy, positioning, and working cross functionally with marketing, game team, and other publishing operations in order to execute flawlessly and under tight deadlines
  • Experience designing, launching and scaling marketing programs that span multiple countries. Experience with international marketing strategies
  • Experience working with licensed products and directly with licensing partners
  • Strong influencing skills; effective cross-functional driver
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible on a day to day basis with task priority 
  • Ability to work on multiple game projects simultaneously
  • Quick learner who can take the lead on an active, fast moving project immediately
