Backlight is seeking a talented detail-oriented Sr. Product Designer who will be instrumental in helping design our web-based applications. For this role, we’re looking for a creative person that has a proven track record in designing, prototyping and delivering high quality design solutions based on user needs and business requirements.

The Sr. Product Designer will work alongside our existing team of developers, designers and have daily interactions with our management team who place great importance on having the best user experience possible for our customers.

What you’ll do:

Translating user needs, business requirements into product improvements
Have input to the strategy and decision making process about our products.
Be responsible for the quality of design deliverables
Create and collaborate on prototypes and high-quality visuals with our engineers, product managers and other team members.
Focus on delivering the best experience to the users of our product.
Building a design system for Backlight’s Products

Qualifications & Experience:

At least 4 years of experience working on designs for software applications.
A proven track record that you can work independently and in a team whilst delivering high quality designs
The ability to communicate ideas and concepts clearly
Good understanding of User Experience Design principles and Human-centered design.
Knowledge of web browsers and web technologies
Good English skills
Media and entertainment industry experience is a bonus
BA or better in Design, User Interaction or related qualifications
