Nielsen Scarborough, the nation’s premier source for local and national consumer insights is looking for talented individuals to join our team.  Nielsen Scarborough measures shopping patterns, lifestyles, and media habits of consumers locally, regionally, and nationally.  From retail outlets to home improvement stores to cellular phone preferences to travel, Scarborough measurements detail the dynamic lives of American adults.

We are looking for a motivated individual with advanced problem-solving abilities, and strong analytical and communication skills who enjoys working with large amounts of data, and has experience working with tight deadlines and fast changing priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensures the survey instruments/questionnaires are designed per specs, and any planned changes are thoroughly scaled and scoped for downstream impact for all setup and processing tasks. 
  • Effectively handles multiple projects/services simultaneously and adapts to reprioritization as necessary. 
  • Owns processes and ensures that other associates performing tasks related to these processes complete work on time. SME (Subject Matter Expert) for specific processes who answers questions and escalates issues to management and other teams as needed. 
  • Executes quality control measures to ensure processes and tasks are running error free. Identifies new ways to validate data to limit or reduce potential errors. 
  • Identifies and solves problems within their process area autonomously and understands context and impact of business decisions. If required communicates with technology to resolve discrepancy in a timely manner. 
  • Collaborates in cross functional  team(s) to work on process improvement and project development leveraging understanding of Scarborough services and product cycle.  

  • REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 - 4 years work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite production (especially Excel) and Google Apps
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail  
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Knowledge of relational databases
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills
