About the Role

Tempo is seeking an experienced C++ Software Engineer to join the Tempo Vision team. As a member of this team, you’ll be responsible for improving the computer vision pipeline Tempo products use for estimating and analyzing human motion in real time. 

As a Senior Engineer for Tempo Vision, you’ll drive research and innovation to advance the capabilities of our existing algorithms and support development of new features which make Tempo more accurate, efficient, and effective at providing real-time guidance to our customers.

This is an hybrid role; onsite 1-2 days a week in our San Francisco office. 

Responsibilities

• Implement real-time cutting edge algorithms in signal processing, computer vision, and machine learning
• Propose, prototype, and deliver to new methods and machine learning models to multiple production environments including Linux and mobile (iOS, Android)
• Partner with product managers to help define new features, and with other engineers to ensure our vision algorithms are robust and production-ready

Qualifications

• 5+ years programming experience in C++, Java, or similar programming language
• Strong mathematical background (3D geometry, linear algebra, numerical methods, algorithms)
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Ideally experience with:
• 2+ years industry experience in Computer Vision 
• Working with Machine Learning 
• Familiarity with Python and/or Swift

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for a SF - based individual. Compensation will ultimately depend on job-related factors including skills and experience. These ranges may be modified in the future.
