Riot engineers bring deep knowledge of specific technical areas but also value the chance to work in many broader domains. As a Senior Engineering Manager, you’ll serve as a coach for a team of engineers, overseeing performance management, growth opportunities, and accountability. You’ll also split your time with hands-on implementation of technical solutions.
As a Sr. Manager, Software Engineering within Research & Development working on an early stage product, you will help decipher one of Riot’s next big bets. You will oversee a team or teams of engineers as well as actively contribute to exploring new experiences to surprise and delight our players. You will be accountable for all technical decisions supporting your initiatives and help shape the product. As part of the engineering leadership group, you will also partner with other leads to improve technical processes and level up the discipline. This role reports to the Engineering Director for the product.
For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players. (Redwood City Only) Base salary range between $246,300.00 - $343,400.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
